A BILL
To amend the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act to extend the authorization for grants under section 24911 of title 49, United States Code, through fiscal year 2032.
Section 1. Short title
This Act may be cited as the Rail Improvement Design and Expansion for Faster Advanced State Transportation Act
or the RIDE FAST Act

Sec. 2. Extension of authorization of appropriations for certain intercity passenger rail grants
Section 22106(a) of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (Public Law 117–58; 135 Stat. 696) is amended by striking 2026
and inserting 2032
