A BILL

To amend the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 to restore the exemption of veterans from a work requirement applicable for participation in the supplemental nutrition assistance program.

Section 1. Short title

This Act may be cited as the Feed Our Veterans Act.

Sec. 2. Restoration of exemption of veterans from a work requirement

Section 6(o)(3) of the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 (7 U.S.C. 2015(o)(3)) is amended—

(1)

in subparagraph (F) by striking or at the end,

(2)

in subparagraph (G) by striking the period at the end and inserting ; or, and

(3)

by adding at the end the following:

(H)
a veteran.
