Mr. Wilson of South Carolina introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Education and Workforce
To amend the Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act of 1959 to provide that individuals who have been convicted of sex offenses against minors may not serve in certain positions.
Section 1. Short title
This Act may be cited as the Ending Predator Access to Union Power Act
.
Sec. 2. Prohibition on holding office
(a) In general
Section 504(a) of the Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act of 1959 (29 U.S.C. 504(a)) is amended by inserting after grievous bodily injury,
