To direct the Secretary of the Interior to convey certain Bureau of Land Management land to the city of Price, Utah, and for other purposes.
Section 1. Short title
This Act may be cited as the Upper Price River Watershed Project Act of 2025
.
Sec. 2. Definitions
In this Act:
(1) City
The term City
means the city of Price, Utah.
(2) Federal land
The term Federal land means the approximately 124.23 acres of Bureau of Land Management land in the State of Utah depicted as Proposed Conveyance Parcels
on the Map.
(3) Map
The term Map
means the map prepared by the Bureau of Land Management entitled Land Conveyance near Price, Utah
and dated May 8, 2025.
(4) Secretary
The term Secretary means the Secretary of the Interior, acting through the Director of the Bureau of Land Management.
Sec. 3. Conveyance of certain Bureau of Land Management land to the city of Price, Utah
(a) In general
Notwithstanding sections 202 and 203 of the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976 (43 U.S.C. 1712, 1713) and subject to valid existing rights, at the request of the City, the Secretary shall convey to the City all right, title, and interest of the United States in and to the Federal land, to be used by the City for public purposes, as defined by the City.
(b) Map
(1) Availability
The Map shall be on file and available for public inspection in the appropriate offices of the Bureau of Land Management.
(2) Minor errors
The Secretary may correct any minor errors in the Map.

means the city of Price, Utah.
(2) Federal land
The term Federal land means the approximately 124.23 acres of Bureau of Land Management land in the State of Utah depicted as Proposed Conveyance Parcels
on the Map.
(3) Map
The term Map
means the map prepared by the Bureau of Land Management entitled Land Conveyance near Price, Utah
and dated May 8, 2025.
(4) Secretary
The term Secretary means the Secretary of the Interior, acting through the Director of the Bureau of Land Management.
Sec. 3. Conveyance of certain bureau of land management land to the City of Price, Utah
(a) In general
Notwithstanding sections 202 and 203 of the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976 (43 U.S.C. 1712, 1713) and subject to valid existing rights, at the request of the City, the Secretary shall convey to the City all right, title, and interest of the United States in and to the Federal land, to be used by the City for public purposes, including—
(1)
the construction of a reservoir and related infrastructure; and
(2)
the development and expansion of infrastructure for public safety, transportation, or use of and access to the reservoir constructed under paragraph (1).
(b) Map
(1) Availability
The Map shall be on file and available for public inspection in the appropriate offices of the Bureau of Land Management.
(2) Minor errors
The Secretary may correct any minor errors in the Map.
(c) Reversion
(1) In general
If the Secretary, after consultation with the State of Utah, determines that the Federal land conveyed under subsection (a) was used by the City for a use not authorized under that subsection, all right, title, and interest in and to the Federal land shall revert to the United States, at the discretion of the Secretary.
(2) Requirements
Prior to a determination under paragraph (1), the Secretary shall—
(A)
notify the City of the noncomforming use;
(B)
provide an opportunity for a hearing, at the request of the City;
(C)
provide public notice and an opportunity for public comment; and
(D)
provide the City a reasonable opportunity to correct any identified uses that could result in reversion of the title to the United States.
